The United States Coast Guard Surface Force Logistics Center has a requirement for the following: The CTR shall provide: Contractor will be removing clean outs and making two cuts in the 2” pvc drain lines and will also be removing two 4” check valves and one 4” 3-way valve within the proposed 150 ft of drain line in the engine room to provide access to run a pressurized snake. Contractor will clean all gray water drain lines to the best of their ability without chemical flushing. Water and sludge from lines will be directed towards gray water holding tank to be pumped overboard to the approved receptacle by the ship and crew. Any spillage will be controlled and removed by Contractor.
