No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests.

In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. The U.S. Coast Guard is conducting market research to determine domestic availability of Air Handling Unit- AHU-5, Model LAH002A.

Specifically, Air Handling unit- AHU-5 Model LAH002A components (all material (steel) that is manufactured in the United States) is sufficient and reasonably available commercial quantities of satisfactory quality. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors.

In order for the AHU-5, Model LAH002A to be considered manufactured in the United States, all manufacturing processes must take place in the United States and the cost of components mined, produced, or manufactured in the United States must exceed 55 percent of the cost of all the components. Components of foreign origin of the same class or kind for which nonavailability determinations have been made are treated as domestic.
