## Description

This is an Amendment to the original SSN posted on 9/10/2025 (change/addition in bold below). This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION not a pre-solicitation notice or solicitation for proposals/quotations. This sources sought notice is for U.S. Government planning purposes only and constitutes requests for exchange of information pursuant to FAR Part 10.?

**REQUIREMENT:** The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, Small Boat Product Line is currently seeking sources for the full overhaul and repair services on MTU/Detroit Diesel 6V92 engines.

The previous contract for this work, 70Z04022D58600B00, was held by WW Williams with a period of performance of 28 January 2022 to 27 January 2025. Must have On-site certified MTU technicians experienced with 6V92 Overhaul Must be able to provide Dynamometer Testing Must be able to obtain all mandatory OEM parts required for a full overhaul Must be able to repair or rebuild those mandatory and/or contingency parts that are no longer available for purchase from MTU Must be able to support up to 45 overhaul engines at any time All parts are to be replaced as new. Rebuilds are allowed of the following 6V92 components due to obsolescence:

**Injectors Blower Cylinder Heads NAICS/Size Standard:** 811310; $12.5 million PSC: J020 Maintenance and Repair of Ship Marine Equipment All interested sources shall also provide the organization name, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, taxpayer identification number, SAM Unique Entity ID (UEI), CAGE Code, and business size applicable to the NAICS code (ex: Large or Small business, 8(a), HubZone, Veteran Owned Small Business, etc), as well as their MTU Certification.

If this becomes a Solicitation in the future, the Government intends to award a single Firm Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Vehicle (IDV) contract to the vendor that can provide all of the above services and can demonstrate via suitable relevant and recent past performance (within the past 3 years). All responding sources must email their response submissions no later than 1 October 2025 at 10:00 am EST.
