The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 325510. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This is an unrestricted solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) anticipates that one or more firm fixed price requirements contract(s) consisting of one (1) one-year base period and, if exercised, four (4) one-year option periods will be awarded on a brand name or equal basis for the items listed in the Schedule of Supplies. Sources must be able to supply QUALIFIED PRODUCTS as specified in the solicitation and the solicitation’s attachments. Offerors that are capable of supplying the aircraft paints, primers, and coatings are invited to submit quotations in accordance with the requirements stipulated in this solicitation. If offerors are proposing the brand name items requested in the solicitation, the items must have clear traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) PRC-Desoto International, Inc. dba PPG Aerospace (CAGE Code 4Z701). Traceability means a clear, complete, documented, and auditable paper trail which traces each step from an OEM or distributor to its current location. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to provide these items or an equal alternative are invited to submit offers in accordance with the requirements stipulated in this solicitation and attachments. The USCG requires various paints, topcoats in gloss and flat finishes, and primers. The paints, primers, and coatings required are as stated in Attachment 1 – “Schedule of Supplies”.
