## Description

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has awarded a Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) purchase order for the acquisition of Beam Steering Unit and Inmarsat Antennas to support the C130 aircraft. Pursuant to the requirements of the Competition in Contracting Act (CICA) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.3 and in accordance with the requirements of FAR 6.303-1, the justification for the use of the statutory authority under FAR Subpart 6.3 is justififed. A redacted copy of this justification was attached to the solicitaiton at time of publishign.
