The rationale for this sole source acquisition is that the existing contract for the same services is in the process of being re-competed, but a new contract won’t be awarded by the end of the period of performance, which will result in a gap in services. The subject three-month contract is intended to bridge this gap. As the incumbent contractor, TechOp Solutions, is the only source with the ability to maintain the level of services required without a transition period until the competed contract is awarded. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement within 2 days of publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with Part 12.
