## Description

The United States Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) Clothing Locker is currentlty conducting market research to identify potential sources that can provide a continueous supply of military swords and scabbards for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Clothing Locker, supporting inventory needs for initial uniform issuance to the Corps of Cadets, Officer Candidate Students, Direct Commissioned Officers, CGA Scholars, and Reserve Officer Candidates.

Sword blades are made of high carbon tool steel or stainless steel and manufactured in the following lengths (inches) 26, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 33. The sword scabbard shall be made of fiberglass or polyurethane tubes 0.040 to 0.065 inch thick. See attached Product Description for specifications. Must be able to supply a minium of 1,000 swords and a maxium of 5,000 swords over a five year period.

**Estimated Period of Performance:** 9/15/2026 - 9/14/2031 The Government is requesting interested vendor’s capability to manufacture or be a reseller of these products. We are also requesting you provide your firm’s name, point of contact information, your SAM.gov UEI (if available), and your business size (e.g., small business, service disabled small business, etc.).
