## Description

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. The USCGA, located in New London, CT, is requesting input from industry to assist in determining the acquisition strategy and potential for a socio-economic set-aside for small business participation in this acquisition. Athletic teams representing the USCGA require dedicated bus transportation to and from inter-collegiate and interstate athletic contests and activities, for both same-day and multi-day events.

Please note that this RFI is provided to all interested and capable vendors in order to target the broadest response from interested entities. Market research is also being conducted through GSA to capture different aspects of the market at large. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is included as a reference in the attachments to this RFI. An estimated bus schedule is being provided as an attachment for reference to assist in understanding a representation of a typical yearly schedule.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Acquisition Planning Forecast System (APFS) record F2024066351 was posted for this requirement. IAW the APFS record, the forecast for this requirement is to release the solicitation through GSA. This sources sought is to provide the Government with additional market research outside GSA schedules.

All interested parties may submit a capability statement that describes the business’s ability to perform all functions required by the attached Draft SOW, and must include responses to the the following questions: Does your firm have the capability to perform all required services in the draft requirements document? Does your company have similar or previous experience with the type of work outlined in the draft requirements document?

Does the draft requirements document contain sufficient information that would enable you to adequately respond to the RFP? Based on the provided information, would your company submit a quote/proposal if this requirement was issued? Are you a small business or other than small business for the selected NAICS? Are there other socio-economic categories that apply to your firm (e.g., Women Owned Small business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small business, SBA Certified HUBZone Firm)?

Do you have current or past contracts with college athletics programs and are you able to support the short-notice and flexibility of college athletics bus requirements? Do you currently provide bus services in the northeast region of the U.S.? Are there other considerations for this requirement that have not been covered, that the Government should be aware of when evaluating, selecting, deploying, and providing the services? Information provided to the Government will be used for market research purposes only.
