## Description

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to solicit and award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b), Only one source reasonably available. The USCG intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) purchase order to:

Halifax International Security Forum 1740 N Street, NW Washington, DC 20036 The purpose of this acquisition is for one (1) United States Coast Guard (USCG) Officer’s attendance at the Peace With Woman Fellowship Conference, which is a fellowship that brings together senior, active-duty, female military officers from NATO member and partner countries for a 3-week executive tour of the political and technological capitals of the United States and Canada.

The Fellowship takes place from October 29, 2024 through November 25, 2024 and concludes with the annual Halifax International Security Forum, where Fellows will participate in the capstone event that will help them shape the future of democracy and global security. The period of performance will be four (4) months from date of award. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND A SOLICITATION IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT.

Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than Thursday, August 22, 2024. In order to be considered capable, respondents must include information in their responses in order to show clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government: Information received will be used solely for the purposes of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order award upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Reimbursement for any costs associated with providing capability information will not be provided. Please provide your response to the Contracting Officer, Khia Baylor-Davis at khia.e.baylor-davis@uscg.mil prior to the expiration of this notice.
