Accordingly, the TSA intends to award a purchase order to the City of Dayton. This purchase order will address the requirements of TSA Office of Information Technology (OIT) Operations and Engineering Division (OED). TSA intends to award this requirement under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) (1)(i) for a base year period with four successive one-year option periods. TSA requires a lease for 6 strands of fiber optic single mode strands for continuous TSA network connectivity for TSA personnel in TSA occupied space at DAY. This synopsis is not a request for competitive quotes. It is a notice that outlines the Government's intent to contract on a sole source basis with DAY. Sources may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit detailed technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the needs of the Government. Detailed capabilities must be submitted by email to Toshia Rollins (Toshia.N.Rollins@tsa.dhs.gov) in an electronic format, no later than 9:00 am Local Time (Springfield, VA) May 28, 2024. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses shall be limited to no more than two (2) pages. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
