The services will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, \"Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.\" As the incumbent, MVM is uniquely positioned to continue providing these services on an uninterrupted basis. MVM is the only contractor positioned to provide the required services without disruption through a future transition period, pending the new contract award. Due to the critical nature of the ICE mission at the MOC and the sensitive nature of the requirement, no other contractor is capable of performing the services required in the timeframe in which the government requires them.
