This service will support FEMA’s Logistics Analysis Office (LAO) in accessing, analyzing, and monitoring both real-time and historical freight market data across all transportation modes, including truckload, intermodal, rail, ocean, and air freight. The system must enable FEMA to optimize logistics operations by benchmarking freight spend, carrier service, operational efficiency, and profitability against market trends. It should provide access to supply chain data and visualizations at global, national, and local levels, while identifying opportunities to improve networks and forecasting future rates and capacity to minimize service failures.
