## Description

**PLEASE NOTE:** AN ADDENDUM HAS BEEN INCORPORATED INTO THIS SOLICITATION. Please provide one signed copy of the addendum with your offer. Argonne National Laboratory seeks to acquire an X-ray transmission (XRT)-based sorting system for the automated classification of lithium-ion batteries, minerals, colored plastics, and metals. The system will serve as a flexible research platform enabling user programmability, algorithm development, and experimentation across a wide range of materials related to critical materials supply chains and recycling technologies. The system should provide open access to data and control interfaces to support external analysis and the creation of custom algorithms.
