Requirements for the multipurpose interferometer and spectrometer: 1. Ultracompact and light, can be inserted into a beam path 2. Multipurpose: generate pulse pairs, spectral interferograms on excitation OR detected beam, allow time resolution with following detectors 3. Stability down to attoseconds between light replicas 4. Spectral resolution down to 1 nm 5. Spectra range at least 400nm - 2000nm 6. Max delay > 1500 fs @ 600nm 7.
