The Geneva Foundation is uniquely qualified to provide these services because of its established scientific collaboration with the VA on this ongoing research and the specialized expertise and knowledge of the project protocols, experimental models, and scientific objectives required to maintain continuity of the VA-funded study. Replacing the existing technical research support would require significant time to develop the specialized knowledge necessary to support the research and could result in delays, increased costs, and disruption to the continuity and integrity of the study.
