**SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE PROJECT NUMBER:** TX FLAP UV CR203(1)

**PROJECT NAME:**

**FISH HATCHERY ROAD PROJECT DETAILS:** The project will widen and reconstruct 0.71 miles of CR203(Fish Hatchery Road) that serves the northern access to the Uvalde National Fish Hatchery (NFH) and eight private property accesses. Roadway widening from 15-feet to 24-feet will be on one side of the road, allowing use of the existing roadway for project phasing.

Suggested phasing plans show phase 1 as widening of the west half of the road with embankment and aggregate construction in, then phase 2 shifts traffic onto the west-side aggregate base while FDR embankment, and aggregate work is completed, to be followed by roadway asphalt paving. Grading of ditches, culvert work, signing, and striping is also required.

**2,000 Tons Culverts:** One 36” pipe (45 LF), one 24” (45 LF), and flared end sections for both.

**ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE:** Advertisement – Fall of 2025 Award - December 2025 Construction – Early 2026 Completion Date – April 2026 ESTIMATED COST RANGE: Between $700,000 and $2,000,000
