Roadway widening from 15-feet to 24-feet will be on one side of the road, allowing use of the existing roadway for project phasing. Suggested phasing plans show phase 1 as widening of the west half of the road with embankment and aggregate construction in, then phase 2 shifts traffic onto the west-side aggregate base while Full Depth Reclamation embankment, and aggregate work is completed, to be followed by roadway asphalt paving.
