Option X consists of the work associated with the access roads and parking lots located primarily within Heron Lake State Park. This project includes full depth reclamation (FDR) of 5.23 total miles of asphalt roadway, which includes 4.61 miles along State Park Road 5001 in the El Vado State Park and 0.62 mile along the Willow Creek Boat Ramp Access Road in the Heron Lake State Park. FDR will be completed for three existing paved parking lots: · Heron State Park Visitors Center Parking Lot, Heron Lake State Park · Willow Creek Boat Ramp Parking Lot, Heron Lake State Park · Ridge Rock Parking Lot and adjacent access road, Heron Lake State Park. Additionally, an existing gravel parking located within El Vado State Park will be paved. This project includes full depth reclamation (FDR) of 5.23 total miles of asphalt roadway, which includes 4.61 miles along State Park Road 5001 in the El Vado State Park and 0.62 mile along the Willow Creek Boat Ramp Access Road in the Heron Lake State Park. FDR will be completed for three existing paved parking lots: · Heron State Park Visitors Center Parking Lot, Heron Lake State Park · Willow Creek Boat Ramp Parking Lot, Heron Lake State Park · Ridge Rock Parking Lot and adjacent access road, Heron Lake State Park. Additionally, an existing gravel parking located within El Vado State Park will be paved. Curb removal, new sidewalk, signing, pavement markings, and minor drainage improvements, primarily culvert cleaning, will also be part of the project.
