## Description

AMENDMENT 0001 IS TO INCORPORATE QUESTIONS RECEIVED AND THEIR APPLICABLE ANSWERS. SEE ATTACHED AMENDMENT 0001 FORM AND APPLICABLE ATTACHMENTS.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking qualified and capable contractors to submit offers for a construction project for the installation of an exterior ramp that is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) at FAA's Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) located in Auburn, Washington. The procurement is being set aside for a small business under NAICS code 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, which has a small business size standard of $45.0 Million. Estimated size of this construction project: Between $250,000 and $500,000.

Work included in the project:

1. Relocate exterior hollow metal door opening and install new hollow metal door and frame with new storefront style door with side lite. Door to be equipped with automatic door hardware and card reader access.

2. Replace adjacent architectural finishes around door.

3. Demo grass sodding, irrigation, and place landscaping backfill.

4. Construct handicap ramp with concrete walkway, stairs, and handrails.

5. Install exterior lighting and access controls as shown on Contract Drawings.

6. Install architectural awning over door landing.

7. Install landscaping features such as plants, boulders, and groundcover.

8. Modify existing irrigation system to reduce coverage in affected ramp area. Relocate or retrofit irrigation components as necessary to maintain operability of overall system outside construction area.
