## Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SINGLE SOURCE – CBP TROLL EQUIP NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED TO THE CONTRACTING SPECIALIST CONTACT INFORMATION BELOW. In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source using single source procedures. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a single source, one-time award to purchase the following items:

Troll has no resellers or distributors.

For the AMO Terrestrial Sites to serve their intended purpose, the configuration must be the same across the ground stations in the field. As the aircraft are now equipped with the Troll Linkbox, the optimal receive site configuration (antenna controllers and receivers) must be Troll. There is not another government contract that can satisfy this requirement. Troll does not have a network of distributors and is the sole source for this equipment.
