NOTICE OF INTENT TO SINGLE SOURCE – CLEAR ALIGN – CBP RVSS-L CLEAR ALIGN Z600 MWIR CAMERAS WITH HOT DETECTORS NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED TO THE CONTRACTING SPECIALIST CONTACT INFORMATION BELOW. This announcement constitutes a notice of intent of the FAA to pursue a single source contract award process for this requirement to acquire from Clear Align, the procurement of (17 ea) Z600 MWIR (50-600mm Continuous Zoom) Standard Definition Hot Detector cameras.

The FAA authority for single source procurements is provided by the FAA’s Acquisition Management System (AMS) policy section 3.2.2.4. Rational Basis for Use of Single Source Award Procedures: Clear Align is the only known source that can provide the required procurement of (17 ea) Z600 MWIR Camera (50-600mm Continuous Zoom) Standard Definition Hot Detector and satisfy the requirement within the needed timeframe.
