## Description

THIS SOLICITATION IS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION 13, SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE. THE EASTERN FEDERAL LANDS HIGHWAY DIVISION (EFLHD), OF THE FEDERAL HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION (FHWA), INTENDS TO PROCURE FROM CONVERGIENT TECHNOLOGIES LLC(dba CONVERGINT TECHNOLOGIES LP) A NEW SECURITY GATE INTERCOM SYSTEM FOR GATE ACCESS. THE NEW SECURITY SYSTEM WILL ALSO REQUIRE INSTALLATION AND MUST BE COMPATIBLE WITH THE EXISTING INFRASTRUCTURE.

THE NEW GATE ACCESS SECURITY SYSTEM IS CRITICAL TO THE OPERATION AND SECURITY OF THE FACILITY, ALLOWING EMPLOYEES TO REMOTELY OPEN THE GATE FOR DELIVERIES AND TO GRANT ACCESS TO VISITORS ATTENDING MEETINGS. ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT A QUOTATION WHICH, IF RECEIVED TIMELY, WITHIN SEVEN DAYS OF THE POSTED DATE, SHALL BE CONSIDERED BY THE AGENCY.
