## Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the Format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).

This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2024-06 dated July, 31 2024. This requirement is being solicited as 100% Total Small Business Set Aside using FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS Code is 3332111– Iron and Steel Forging with a small business size standard of 750 Employees. The solicitation number is 6923G524Q1487. **NOTE: Offerors must be registered in SAM.gov and have an active registration at the time of this solicitation closing.

**SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES:** See Attachment B –Pricing Sheet.

**DESCRIPTION OF WORK:** The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (GLS) has a requirement to purchase Split-Key Shackles for the proper mooring of USCG floating aids to navigation buoys, in accordance with the Statement of Work (Attachment A).

**CONTRACT TYPE:** This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) that will result in the award of a firm fixed price purchase order.

**CONTRACT PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:** The awarded vendor shall deliver the split key shackles no more than 60 days after award.

**PLACE OF PERFORMANCE:** The awarded vendor shall deliver to 251 Fregoe Road, Massena, NY 13662. QUESTIONS DUE DATE: Questions must be sent via e-mail to chora.snyder@dot.gov arriving no later than August 26, 2024, 2:00 PM EST.
