The Car Spotter Minimum Requirements are included in the attached drafted Statement of work and shall be delivered to Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia 180 days after date of award. This is a Pre-Solicitation notice and not a request for quote. The Government intends to issue the solicitation on or about April 19th, 2024. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code System (NAICS) for this procurement is 336510- Railroad Rolling Stock Manufacturing; the Small Business size standard is 1,500 employees. This is a full and open procurement, and it will be conducted in accordance with FAR 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services. The Government intends to award a single Firm?Fixed?Price Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation to the vendor whose offer conforms to the solicitation represents the best value, price and other factors considered.
