**Requirement:**

**Software Services for Radiation Therapy Services:** The Contractor shall perform services of a full scale infrastructure and support for: 2 Linear Accelerators, 31 ARIA RO Users, 10 Planning Users, 9 Calc Eclipse Users, 6 GPU FAS Servers Hosted, Default Data Protection (non-clinical system support), non-clinical T-Box System (includes Citrix support for up to 5 users) and 1 Non-Clinical FAS Server and hosted in On-Premise Data Center.

Additionally, the "Proton License" on FSOP to enable communication between Aria and iDMS for Radixact treatment management and Record & Verify. Essential physical characteristics: These services and equipment is proprietary to Varian Medical System, Inc. The software is specifically designed to work with the treatment machines utilized at this facility. Replacing it would have a detrimental financial impact and cause delays in the treatment of Veterans.

Based on the market research conducted, no two or more VIP verified and capable SDVOSBs or VOSBs were identified and appeared capable of performing the requirement. In addition, no small or large business in any of the other targeted socio-economic groups appeared to qualify for a set-aside procurement. Therefore, this requirement will be sole sourced to Varian Medical Systems, Inc. IAW FAR Part 6.302-1.
