## Description

The 87th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base McGurie-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL), NJ intends to award sole source contracts to the five current Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) contract holders, Sequoia Construction, Inc., Sheela, Inc., Kaser Mechanical, LLC., M.E.R.I.T. Inc. and Benaka Inc., in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Only one source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the work.

The purpose of the sole source is to increase the ceiling level of the MACC IDIQ by $25 million from $99 million to $124 million. This increase allows for continued mission essential work to be performed at JBMDL until the end of the current period of performance of 18 March 2025 and the follow-on contracts are awarded in 2025. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored.

No award will be made based on quotes or offers received in response to this notice. The NAICS code for this requirement is 236220. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to meet this requirement by 1:00PM EST on 16 July 2024. Additionally, any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. No reimbursement for any costs connected with providing capability information will be provided.
