## Description

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), National Capital Region, Fort Meade, Maryland awarded a sole source contract with Northrop Grumman (NG) at 7575 Colshire Drive, McLean, VA 22101 on 4 March 2024. This requirement was for the continuation of services for the engineering support and software functional changes to the proprietary messaging switch components currently being provided.

The DISA/SD43 has a critical continuing need to provide proprietary NG software development to support the operational and test messaging switch systems at National Gateway Centers (NGCs) located at Fort Detrick (NGC-D), the Pentagon (NGC-P) and Raven Rock Mountain Complex (NGC-R), specifically the Enhanced Communication Gateway System (ECGS) and the Secure Messaging and Routing Terminal Next Generation (SMART.neXt).

The messaging switch components and software were previously purchased and installed by the Government, and the Government’s current need is for support for those components and software. This notice of award is not a request for competitive proposals.
