This procurement is a continuation of existing 10x Genomics products used for existing research by the biology department as well as the new proprietary Visium HD, which is the only truly single-cell spatial transcriptomics platform. 10x Genomics Inc is the only entity that offers the Visium CytAssist bundle and the Visium HD. Obtaining this requirement through 10x Genomics allows the Biology department (BIO) to maintain access to resources utilized daily by USU professors, researchers and students. Therefore, 10x Genomics Inc. is the only known source that can provide the requested Visium CytAssist bundle and the Visium HD required by USU. This requirement will be procured in accordance with the procedures of FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).
