This will include providing a calibration certificate. Specific Requirements are as follows: **Item 1:** Repair and Calibrate Instrument – ZVA67,4 Port. QTY: **1 JOB Specifications:** 1.1 – Repair of the product. 1.2 12-month warranty on the entire product. 1.3 – Measurement of complete product specification with the same procedures as used in production (including measurement uncertainties and guardbanding). 1.4 – Adjustments to optimize the product parameters to production conditions. 1.5 – Calibration certificate. 1-6 – Preventative maintenance and performance modifications. This shall be provided and accomplished in accordance with the Statement of Work. NAICS Code is 334515 – Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals, with a Size Standard of 750 employees. NIST anticipates negotiating and awarding a firm-fixed-price purchase order to Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. for this requirement. Interested parties that can demonstrate they could satisfy the requirement listed above for NIST must clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition. If competitive procedures are not used it is estimated that an award will be issued 4th Quarter of FY24. Rohde & Schwarz does not allow resellers to perform repairs or calibrations due to proprietary software information and also to maintain the existing warranty on the product. Since this instrument needs repair and calibration; the CO found that only Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. can perform this work and does not allow resellers to perform these repairs and calibrations. NIST would not be able to use this equipment without the necessary repairs and calibrations.
