Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 13.106-1(b) the 301st Fighter Wing, Naval Air Station JRB, Fort Worth TX Contracting Office intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to WAIT MECHANICAL INC. This sole source contract action is required for completion of the following scope of work: Replace the coil on Air Handler CAH007GMAM at B1655. This sole source contract action is based on the likelihood that an award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition and extend current mission impact significantly. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice of intent.
