## Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE. This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regular (FAR) 5.101. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. The statutory authority for this notice is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) set forth in FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

United States Coast Guard Base Honolulu intends to award a firm fixed price contract to ESL Power System, Inc., 2800 Palisades Drive, Corona CA 92880, for the Manufacture of quantity (2) Cutter Protection Assymblies(part # 5101-62E-US. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement clearly demonstrating the ability to manufacture the requested supply, before 10:00AM HST 14JUNE24, which may be considered by the Agency.

Responses to this notice shall be submitted to SKCS Justin Hinkle at justin.n.hinkle@uscg.mil A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice. This special notice is being issued for informational purposes only. description: 6A, 450VAC, 3-PHASE, 3-WIRE, 6A, 480VAC, 1-PHASE, 3-WIRE ESL TYPE 4X CONTROL ENCLOSURE.

THE ENCLOSURE IS FABRICATED FROM 12GA 304 DOMESTIC STAINLESS STEEL AND POWDER COATED TCI ASA61 GRAY AFTER FABRICATION (COMPLYING WITH WITH IEEE C57.12.29. UL 50 LABELED. COMPLETE WITH MOUNTING TABS. APPROXIMATELY 34"H X 18"W X 11"D (SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT FINAL DESIGN). ON THE FRONT SIDE OF THE ENCLOSURE IS A HINGED, CLAMPED, PAD LOCKABLE ACCESS DOOR WITH A PLEXIGLASS WINDOW AND DEADFRONT. NOT UL LISTED.

THE ESL POWER SYSTEMS’ CONTROL ENCLOSURE IS FACTORY WIRED AND INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS: (1) CONTROL STEP DOWN TRANSFORMER 480:120VAC (1) 2-POSITION SWITCH TO TURN CONTROL POWER ON/OFF (1) PHASE LOSS RELAY (EATON D65PLR480) (1) RED LED INDICATING LIGHT TO ILLUMINATE ON PHASE LOSS.

(1) LINE INSULATION MONITOR (BENDER ISO685W-D-B) (1) AMBER STROBE WARNING LIGHT (1) RED STROBE WARNING LIGHT (1) ALARM HORN (CONTINUOUS) WITH SILENCE PUSHBUTTON AND RELAY (1) BYPASS SWITCH FOR THE LINE INSULATION MONITOR WITH INDICATING LIGHTS (1) SURGE PROTECTION DEVICE. (1) RED LED INDICATING LIGHT TO ILUMINATE WHEN SPD IS TO BE REPLACED. (1) TIME DELAY RELAY WITH (2) LATCHING RELAYS.FUSING AND TERMINAL BLOCKS AS REQUIRED.
