It is the belief of the government that this company is the sole source to fulfill the need of one responsible source to satisfy the agency requirement for the payment of annual Technical Enhancements and Customer Support (TECS) fees for two (2) perpetual licenses of ModelCenter Premium. (See attached justification [JOTFOC for 52000PR260025304]). The total estimated value is $47,240.00. This sole source contracting action is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.102(a). This hereby constitutes a synopsis of the item/s included in this requirement. ANSYS, Inc.; NAICS 541519. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objectives. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive solicitation for future requirements. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.
