A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement, for the specific item listed below, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Reference FAR 6.302-1(c), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements - Application for brand name descriptions.” (NAICS 334111) - Johnson Controls Building Automation Systems (JC N2 BAS)- Must be compatible with the existing legacy N2 controllers and N2 Legacy System at BAFB. BAFB uses a Johnson Controls N2 Technology. Simply stated, this system consists of centralized receiver that receives utility information from N2 controllers installed in individual buildings. The system is a legacy system that operates using proprietary communication methods that does not communicate with other controls protocols (BACnet, Lonworks). JC N2 BAS is manufactured by: Johnston Controls , Inc. THIS NOTICE IS A SPECIAL NOTICE AND NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No solicitation will be available as the sole source item will be incorporated into the specifications of the Solicitation for B6413 Building Renovation Secure Space.
