The conference will take place at FRBNY in New York City, NY from April 9-10, 2024. FRBNY will provide light refreshments on both mornings of the conference, as well as one (1) coffee break and lunch on the first full day of the conference, for approximately 310 conference attendees. The Contracting Officer has determined that FRBNY is the only source that can reasonably meet the SEC’s requirement, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b), because FRBNY requires that all food and beverage be provided by their in-house food service provider. FRBNY does not permit outside food or beverage to be brought into or removed from their facilities. The SEC selected FRBNY as the best location for the conference, as the auditorium and audiovisual/Information Technology (IT) support will be provided to the SEC free of charge. The only cost to the SEC will be catering services, as described above. The period of performance for the purchase order is anticipated to be two (2) days and the total value of the purchase order shall be below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT). The SEC intends to award a purchase order to FRBNY on or about March 18, 2024. This notice is not a competitive request for quotations. A competitive solicitation will not be issued.
