The purchase order will be made using procurement procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The vendor must provide software licenses and related support that provide/meet the following requirements: The vendor shall provide 176 software licenses that allow IRS auditors to analyze taxpayer books and records, acquire taxpayer data, perform analysis on the taxpayer data, and improve audit integrity. The software licenses must also allow IRS auditors to import and to analyze different formats of taxpayer data and allow auditors to fully and comprehensively examine taxpayer data. The vendor also must provide maintenance and customer support for technical issues and security patch updates throughout the life of the purchase order.
