The anticipated start date is 30 September 2025. A twelve (12) month base period of performance with four option periods is contemplated for this acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 519290, Web Search Portals and All Other Information Services with a business size of 1,000 employees and the Product Service Code (PSC) is DA10 – IT and Telecom – Business Application/Application Development Software as a Service. The IRS collects annual data on the operations and effects of the tax laws as they relate to Corporations Income Tax Returns study. As part of this data collection, it is necessary to research data which may not have been reported on the tax return or were reported incorrectly. The subscription includes a proprietary global financial database with standardized financial statements and corporate hierarchies not replicated by other providers. In addition, the Domestic and International Excel spreadsheets are proprietary outputs of Mergent’s database and are not available from competitors. Without access to standardize financial statements and structural data on private and public companies available through Mergent’s database, the IRS would not be able to conduct comparative research across corporations and industries. No solicitation package will be issued.
