The LB&I Appraiser specialists require access to this database with both nationwide current and historical real estate market transactions to perform research to value commercial real estate property. CoStar Realty Information, Incorporated’s database provides comprehensive and up-to-date commercial real estate data, including ownership records, sales transactions, lease information and market trends. The CoStar database allows the IRS Appraisers to properly evaluate commercial properties and understand current market conditions.
