IRS requires the Vertiv UPS spare parts kit if existing parts of the UPS system fail. Only Vertiv replacement parts will work in the Vertiv proprietary UPS system and there are no known resellers of the specific Vertiv Spare Parts Kit. The Spare Parts Kit must be purchased directly from Vertiv. As was previously stated, the Vertiv UPS system is proprietary in nature and only Vertiv parts will work in the system. No other grey market parts will work in the UPS system and an attempt to use grey market parts would void existing warranties and maintenance coverage of the currently installed UPS system. The kit is made up of the following Vertiv Spare Parts: KIT ASSY FAN W HARNESS EXM UPS - Quantity 2 MODULE ASSY BP EXM 480V 200K - Quantity 1 MODULE ASSY PWR EXM 50 KVA - Quantity 1 DISPLAY 9-INCH LCD MODULE - Quantity 1 SD card with basic firmware for GHMI - Quantity 1 FUSE 450A 700V SQ BODY FLUSH - Quantity 6 The purchase will be made using procurement procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 13.5- Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services. As a result, there is no other resource currently available that provides this spare parts kit except for Vertiv Corporation. Therefore, Vertiv Corporation is the only vendor that can provide the requested supplies. For the reason stated above, it was determined that no other vendor would have the capability or experience to fulfill this requirement, leaving Vertiv Corporation as the only responsible option. *This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice.
