## Description

**Notice Type:** Notice of Intent to Award a Single Source Contract This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 "Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions" The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District intends to award a single-source, firm-fixed-price supply contract to North Coast Electric Company 130 Garfield Street, Eugene, OR 97402-7605. The purpose of this acquisition is to purchase Allen Bradley ITAS electrical componentents.

The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisiton is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) - Soliciting from a Single Source for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED The Government intents to proceed with this single source action. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS.

Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Governemtn by submitting a capability statement that they have the ability to supply the required components meeting the government's need. If no affirmitive written responses are received by 10:30AM Pacific Time on 28 May 2025, an award willbe made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is soley within the discrection of the Government. Electronic responses and questions shall be submitted via email to the contracting point of contact listed below. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is not responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
