This sole source task order to the incumbent contractors, SAIC, is necessary to provide adequate time for the preparation and award of a SAFS-3 competitive follow-on task order while ensuring there is no break in Technical A&AS to critical space launch programs. This contract action is required to provide continued technical support services while awaiting solicitation release and award of EMAT's A&AS competitive follow-on task order against the General Services Administration (GSA) One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) under the SSC Technical Services (STS-3)
