## Description

The APS is exploring the possibility of acquiring a data storage buffer system with a high level of performance to meet the demands of the upgraded APS. This includes the ability to support the acquisition of raw experiment data from new and existing detectors across the APS’s anticipated 72 beamlines, and data analysis workloads, including conventional and machine-learning workloads. System requirements have been outlined in the attached RFI document.
