## Description

The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, 10 United States Code (U.S.C.)

3204(a)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) to Johns Hopkins University, 3400 N Charles St, Baltimore MD 21218, as the only responsible source that can provide the Walter Reed Army Institute of Reseach, with research and development support to assist with a study of the potential impact of Dengue Virus (DENV) infection on military readiness and specifically includes development of mathematical models that address the probability of infection given travel to specific places at specific times, the probability of apparent illness upon infection, and the duration and severity of that apparent illness.
