## Description

The National Science Foundation (NSF) Office of Legislative and Public Affairs (OLPA) requires: I. Administrative & Program Support 1. Administrative Support Manages day-to-day operations, calendars, emails, and documentation. Supports travel, meetings, communications, and stakeholder engagement. Maintains databases, tracks metrics, and ensures document quality. 2. Metrics Analyst Tracks and analyzes engagement across platforms. Evaluates communication effectiveness and provides strategic insights.

Prepares performance reports and dashboards to inform decision-making. II. Strategic Communications 1. Strategic Communications Develops and refines communication strategies aligned with NSF goals. Supports integration of digital, multimedia, and written materials. Uses audience feedback to improve campaigns. III. Event Support 1. Events Coordinator Manages logistics for NSF meetings, conferences, and exhibits. Supports event design, execution, and vendor coordination.

Ensures compliance with accessibility standards; some travel required. 2. Event Planning & Management Plans and manages high-profile and quick-turnaround events. Coordinates venue logistics, signage, security, catering, etc. 3. Speaker & RSVP Management Recommends and manages event speakers. Handles invitation/RVSP platforms, speaker prep, and coordination. 4. Event Communication & Reports Provides surveys, reports, and weekly updates on event progress. IV.

Digital Services 1. Graphic Design & Animation Designs visuals, infographics, illustrations, and animations for various platforms. Ensures branding and accessibility compliance. 2. Web Design & Development Supports NSF.gov content updates, layout design, and CMS (Drupal) work. 3. Digital Asset Management Archives and manages multimedia assets; advises on copyright and permissions. V. Writing Support 1. Speechwriting Drafts speeches, testimonies, and leadership messaging.

2. Content Creation Writes blogs, articles, press releases, and summaries of scientific work. 3. Social Media Develops SEO-optimized and accessible social media content. 4. Scriptwriting Creates scripts for video/podcast content tailored to various audiences. 5. Editing & QA Edits all written content for style, grammar, plain language, and accessibility.
