Notice of Intent to Solicit and Negotiate with One Source In accordance with FAR 5.201, this is a Presolicitation Notice to notify industry of the Government’s intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source. The Government is pursuing a non-competitive action under the authority of FAR 13.106-1b, Soliciting from a single source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The equipement is needed to provide the public with an adequate supply of drinking water. Illinois Tool Works, Inc.'s valve maintenance trailer is critical to USACE’s overall mission to provide clean drinking water to the public.
