GSA FAS APEX 1 hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source delivery order to provide the U.S. Army Program Management Office for Protection and Integration (PM-PI) with brand name supplies listed in the attached Bill of Materials (BOM). This effort will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(B). This is being sole sourced to Invisio Communications based on the fact that as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) with these items on a Federal Supply Schedule, they are the only source capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. Purchase of these supplies from a source other than Invisio Communications using commercial procedures would result in additional costs and potential schedule delays. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement to the Contracting Officer(s) listed below which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed delivery order based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 8.405-6. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 8.405, Ordering Procedures for Federal Supply Schedules. Those capable of providing the supplies listed in the BOM via Federal Supply Schedule are requested to provide the following information in their response NLT close of this posting: 1) Current Federal Supply Schedule that demonstrates your company is able to supply these items; and 2) Company Name, Point of Contact, Email Address, Telephone Numbers, Type of Business and Size, Cage Code and Unique Entity ID.
