The WMP should focus on monitoring, testing, and maintenance of water systems such as testing chlorine levels and temperature at point of use outlets, cleaning and changing aerators and showerheads, and validation testing of equipment and point of use outlets. Remedial actions, such as flushing, shall not be utilized as routine water safety tasks.
