These services are critical for LSP in providing end-to-end launch support for NASA and NASA-sponsored spacecraft on commercial launch vehicles. NASA/KSC intends to issue a modification to extend the current Expendable Launch Vehicle Integrated Support (ELVIS 3) contract to a.i. solutions for a potential of two years via one-year option periods under the authority of FAR 6.302. The extension will enable the Government sufficient time to align ELVIS 3 requirements in accordance with the Administration’s objectives and Fiscal Year 2026 budgetary requirements. This will enable the government ample time to further define the requirements for the recompete, Evolving Launch Vehicle Integrated Support (ELVIS 4) contract, while continuing to receive specialized support services for ELVIS 3. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial product or commercial service using FAR Part 12.
