## Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source, fixed price purchase order for twenty-four (24) Novaplex HPV28 Detection kits to Seegene USA, Inc. These detection kits are solely manufactured by Seegene, Inc. and sold exclusively through Seegene USA as Research Use Only (RUO) and are the most suitable assay for current surveillance studies because of the assay multiplex platform to detect 28 HPV types that have shown risk to develop cancer in humans and its capability to generate type-specific results quicker than most HPV detection assays in market.

Additionally, Seegene US, Inc. provides immediate technical support of their products, and are available to visit the laboratory for any troubleshoot or technical evaluation. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Seegene USA, Inc. is the only responsible source capable of providing the necessary equipment.

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within seven (7) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.

Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any response should be emailed to the working contract specialist at xvn8@cdc.gov. Questions or responses will not be accepted by phone.
