The period of performance is anticipated to be a three (3) month base period with one (1) 3-month option. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. § 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” Specifically, award to any other source would result in “unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency’s requirements.” See 10 U.S.C. § 3204(b)(B)(ii); FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B). While this notice of intent is for informational purposes only, and not a request for competitive proposals, interested parties may identify their interest and technical capability, respond to this notice, and submit information.
