The 10th Contracting Squadron, US Air Force Academy, CO, intends to award a firm fixed-price commercial purchase order to a single source using simplified acquisition procedures under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) on or about July 10, 2024, to TA Instruments - Waters LLC, 159 Lukens Drive, New Castle, DE, 19720. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334516 and the PSC code is 6635. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is 1,000 employees. The US Air Force Academy, Chemistry Research Center (CRC) and Department of Chemistry (DFCH), have a requirement for attachments and accessories for use with a TA Instruments HR 30 Discovery Hybrid Rheometer. Market research has determined TA Instruments - Waters LLC is the only vendor who can supply the compatible attachments and accessories meeting the requirements at Attachment 1 – Salient Characteristics THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTATION.
